2. Information we collect

The information collected depends on how you interact with us. It may include:

  • identity and contact details, including your name, email address, telephone number and postal address;
  • enquiry and project details, including site locations, drawings, photographs, scope, programme and correspondence;
  • workforce and recruitment details, including employment history, skills, qualifications, cards, licences, availability and work preferences;
  • right-to-work, identity, payroll and payment information where required after we instruct you to complete a secure process;
  • supplier, subcontractor and business-contact information;
  • website and device information, such as IP address, browser type, pages visited and cookie choices; and
  • any other information you choose to provide in an enquiry or communication.

Please do not send identity documents, bank information, tax details or other sensitive records through an ordinary website form or unsecured email unless we have specifically instructed you to use that route.

3. How we use personal information

We may use personal information to:

  • respond to enquiries and prepare quotations or proposals;
  • assess and deliver construction, labour, security or support requirements;
  • manage relationships with clients, candidates, workers, suppliers and subcontractors;
  • assess suitability, qualifications, licences, experience and availability for work;
  • complete right-to-work, compliance, onboarding, payroll and payment processes;
  • administer contracts, records, insurance, health and safety, incidents and legal obligations;
  • operate, secure, analyse and improve our website and services;
  • prevent fraud, misuse and security threats; and
  • send business communications where permitted by law and respect your communication choices.

5. Who we share information with

We may share relevant information, where necessary, with clients and project teams; payroll, accounting and professional advisers; screening or compliance providers; IT, hosting, communications and secure-form providers; insurers; regulators, law-enforcement bodies and public authorities; and other parties involved in a business transfer or legal claim.

We require service providers acting for us to protect personal information and use it only for authorised purposes. We do not sell personal information.

If information is transferred outside the United Kingdom, we will use an approved legal safeguard where required, such as adequacy regulations or recognised contractual protections.

6. How long we keep information

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected and to meet contractual, legal, tax, insurance, health-and-safety and dispute requirements.

Retention periods vary by record type. Enquiries that do not proceed are reviewed and removed when no longer reasonably required. Contract, workforce, payroll, compliance and project records may need to be retained for longer statutory or limitation periods. At the end of the applicable period, information is securely deleted, anonymised or archived where continued retention is legally required.

7. How we protect information

We use proportionate organisational and technical measures intended to prevent personal information from being accidentally lost, altered, disclosed or accessed without authority. Access is limited to people and providers with a business need, and incidents are assessed and reported where the law requires.

No internet transmission or storage system is completely secure. Use only the secure link supplied by our team when submitting payroll, identity, right-to-work or banking information.

8. Your data-protection rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may have the right to request access to your information; correction; erasure; restriction; objection; data portability; or withdrawal of consent. You may also have rights concerning decisions made solely by automated means.

We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request. These rights are not absolute, and an exemption or legal retention requirement may apply. We normally respond within one month, although the law permits an extension for complex or multiple requests.

9. Cookies and external services

Our website may use essential cookies required for security and operation, together with optional analytics, media or marketing technologies where enabled. Optional technologies should not be set until the required consent has been obtained.

Links to external websites and social networks are governed by those organisations’ own privacy practices. A separate Cookie Policy will provide more detail about the cookies in use and how to change your choices.

10. Contact, complaints and changes

If you enter into a contract, register for work, provide services or receive payroll through another An Mhí Group company, that company may be a separate controller for the information used in that relationship. The relevant company will be identified in the applicable contract, registration instructions, payroll communication or other documentation.

To ask a privacy question or exercise a data-protection right, email admin@meath.group, write to Meath Enterprises Ltd, Savoy House, Old Oak Common Lane, London, England, W3 7DA, or use our contact page.

You may complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office through ico.org.uk. We would appreciate the opportunity to address your concern first.
